Loss control services
Although we are proud of our reputation for fast and fair claims service, Co-operative Insurance Companies doesn't just help you after you've had a loss. We're committed to providing loss control services and education to our members. This can sometimes help prevent losses in the first place, or at least reduce their impact.
Co-op employs two full-time and three part-time loss control engineers across Vermont and New Hampshire. These professionals spend most of their time performing property inspections for new and existing Co-op members. During and after an inspection, policyholders receive recommendations on how to address any identified hazards. There is no additional premium charge for these services.
In addition, our loss control staff make time in their busy schedules to educate our agents and employees, as well as Co-op members, about safety issues. They develop and find safety-related articles and public service notices, many of which you'll find on this site in our safety tips section.
