This independently operated brokerage agency is a wholly owned affiliate of Co-operative Insurance Companies formed in 1967 to provide our agents markets for additional lines of insurance.
UI now represents many major insurance carriers and offers our agents a wide range of insurance products, including bonds, automobile, commercial, workers compensation, and many specialty insurance products. Throughout its existence, UI has provided our agents a reliable outlet for such markets.
Our mission, as an independent agency, is to complement Co-operative Insurance Companies by efficiently providing its agents competitive property and casualty insurance products.
To accomplish our mission, we will:
- Align our efforts with those of the Co-operative Insurance Companies to fully support its professional agency system;
- Demonstrate by our actions our core values of integrity, respect, accountability and stewardship;
- Provide our customers competitive products written by quality insurance companies;
- Be open and fair with all insurance companies that we represent and be committed to represent their best interests;
- Control costs and generate earnings sufficient to support our operations while providing a fair compensation to our producing agents.
