Property Claims Adjuster

 Are you good at helping people resolve problems? Do you have great communication and negotiation skills? Co-operative Insurance Companies seeks an experienced, licensed property adjuster to handle property claims in the Central Vermont and New Hampshire area. We value fast and fair claims service, and if you’re right for this full-time position, you’ll be committed to maintaining that standard.

 Desired Skills & Experience

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Experience in property loss adjusting, liability investigation and negotiations through final settlement
  • Knowledge of insurance contracts, legal requirements and regulations
  • Knowledge of current construction methods and costs
  • Complete home valuation and estimate writing experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An exceptional commitment to customer service
  • Attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • VT/NH adjuster's license (unlicensed candidate must be able to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire)
