Employee Activities

Co-operative Insurance Company employees are involved in community causes. Here are a few of the activities we have participated in/causes we have supported in recent years:

Middlebury College Relay for Life

On multiple occasions we've raised money for the cause and walked through the night as part of the annual fundraiser.

MS Walk

Since 2014, Co-op employees have participated each year in Vermont MS walks and have raised and donated over $5,000 towards MS support and research.

Addison County Humane Society

We've held a yard sale, a pet photo pageant, pet treat bake sale and supply drives in support of our local no-kill animal shelter.

Vermont Children's Hospital

We've held toy drives and done fundraisers such as a Pounds of Pennies coin collection.

Addison County food shelves

We've held food drives and raised money through Super Bowl parties, yard sales, dress-down days, and cookouts.

Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival

We've twice assembled groups of 21 employees and friends to brave the waves (and sometimes torrential rain) to race a dragon boat. In our second year, we won a spirit prize for our fab tiki-themed tent, and we raised and donated almost $1900 to the breast cancer survivors of Dragonheart Vermont and FAHC's Cancer Patient Support Program.
